Insurance & funding
Cost should never keep your child from care.
If your child is covered by Medical Assistance or Medica, their evaluation and therapy are covered too. We take care of the paperwork, so your family can focus on your child.
How it works.
Most families come in through Medical Assistance (Minnesota Medicaid) or Medica. We're enrolled as an EIDBI provider with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the state program that covers autism evaluation and treatment.
Once your child is enrolled in MA or Medica, the CMDE(Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation) is covered. So are the ABA, speech, and occupational therapy that follow. That means cost isn't something your family has to carry. We take care of the paperwork and authorizations behind the scenes.
If your child isn't yet enrolled in Medical Assistance or Medica, our intake team helps you navigate that step before the evaluation.
What is EIDBI?
EIDBI stands for Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention. It's a Minnesota-specific Medicaid program that funds autism treatment for children, covering the CMDE that opens the door plus the ABA, speech, and OT that follow. You'll often see it called “EIDBI services” on insurance paperwork.
We're enrolled as an EIDBI provider with MN DHS, which means EIDBI funding flows directly to your child's treatment at Enlight without you fronting cost. For the full picture of who qualifies and how to get started, see our EIDBI guide for Minnesota parents.
